Dr. Parham Rasoulinejad joined the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Department of Surgery, Western University on September 15, 2014 as an Assistant Professor with active privileges at London Health Sciences Centre’s Victoria Hospital.
Dr. Rasoulinejad received his BSc in Kinesiology from Western University, before heading to medical school at the University of Ottawa. Upon receiving his medical degree, he returned to Western for his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
After his residency training, Dr. Rasoulinejad earned a MSc in Medical Biophysics and completed a fellowship in Adult Spinal Surgery at Western. Subsequently, he travelled to Vancouver where he completed a fellowship in Paediatric Spinal Surgery at the University of British Columbia with a specialized focus on pediatric spinal deformity. He completed his final clinical spine fellowship at the University of Calgary in the Department of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery with a focus on minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Rasoulinejad’s research interests are in the field of spinal biomechanical testing and implant design and development. He is also involved with several retrospective and prospective clinical outcome research investigations in the field of spine surgery.
